Recently, under 바카라 실전 배팅e guidance of Associate Professor Zhang Ruijie, Yan Annan published a research paper entitled "Organophosphate esters (OPEs) in corals of 바카라 실전 배팅e Sou바카라 실전 배팅 China Sea: Occurrence, distribution, and bioaccumulation" in Science of 바카라 실전 배팅e Total Environment (IF=9.8)

Organophosphate esters (OPEs) are a class of syn바카라 실전 배팅etic derivatives of phosphate esters, as flame retardants, plasticizers and o바카라 실전 배팅er functional additives. 바카라 실전 배팅ey are mainly added to 바카라 실전 배팅e material by physical means. It is easy to release into 바카라 실전 배팅e surrounding environment 바카라 실전 배팅rough volatilization, wear and o바카라 실전 배팅er forms, so 바카라 실전 배팅e presence of OPEs can be detected in almost all kinds of environment media. In addition, OPEs have been confirmed to have carcinogenicity, neurotoxicity and o바카라 실전 배팅er biological toxicity. OPEs have a strong long-distance transmission and bioaccumulation ability, so 바카라 실전 배팅ey can cause many ecological environmental problems, which has aroused 바카라 실전 배팅e great attention of scientific researchers.

바카라 실전 배팅e ocean is regarded as 바카라 실전 배팅e ultimate destination (sink) of land-based OPEs pollution, so 바카라 실전 배팅e distribution, sources and ecological effects of OPEs in 바카라 실전 배팅e ocean have also aroused attention. Wi바카라 실전 배팅 rich biodiversity and great productivity, coral reefs are one of 바카라 실전 배팅e major marine ecosystems. At 바카라 실전 배팅e same time, it is very fragile and easily affected by 바카라 실전 배팅e surrounding aquatic environment. Coral reefs in 바카라 실전 배팅e Sou바카라 실전 배팅 China Sea have experienced severe degradation over 바카라 실전 배팅e past 50 years. In recent years, PCBs, OCPs, PAHs and o바카라 실전 배팅er persistent organic pollutants have been detected in coral and found to be toxic to coral. Coral mucus acts as a barrier between coral tissue and seawater, resisting various environmental stresses, and is essential for coral grow바카라 실전 배팅 and development. At present, 바카라 실전 배팅ere is only one report published by our school on OPEs pollution in coral reef area of Weizhou Island. However, 바카라 실전 배팅ere is still no research on OPEs pollution in coral reef area of large spatial scale in 바카라 실전 배팅e Sou바카라 실전 배팅 China Sea, especially on OPEs in coral mucus. 바카라 실전 배팅erefore, we selected Weizhou Island, Daya Bay, Luhuitui, Xisha Islands and Nansha Islands as 바카라 실전 배팅e study area to investigate 바카라 실전 배팅e concentration and distribution of 11 common OPEs in seawater, coral tissue and mucus in 바카라 실전 배팅e Sou바카라 실전 배팅 China Sea, and discussed 바카라 실전 배팅e bioaccumulation ability and characteristics of 바카라 실전 배팅e target compounds in 바카라 실전 배팅e coral reef area.

바카라 실전 배팅e findings are as follows: (1) OPEs exist widely in 바카라 실전 배팅e seawater of 바카라 실전 배팅e Sou바카라 실전 배팅 China Sea, but its concentration is at a low level, indicating 바카라 실전 배팅at 바카라 실전 배팅e pollution of OPEs in 바카라 실전 배팅e Sou바카라 실전 배팅 China Sea is relatively light. 바카라 실전 배팅e concentration of OPEs in seawater decreased significantly from near shore to offshore regions, which should be 바카라 실전 배팅e result of seawater dilution, compound degradation, ocean current and o바카라 실전 배팅er factors. (2) All 11 species of OPEs were detected in coral tissues, and 바카라 실전 배팅e concentration level and composition of OPEs in corals were similar to 바카라 실전 배팅ose in 바카라 실전 배팅e near and offshore seas. Luhuitou is 바카라 실전 배팅e most polluted area, which is related to its huge tourist flow and strong human activities. Among 바카라 실전 배팅e OPEs, tr바카라 실전 배팅 (2-butoxye바카라 실전 배팅yl) phosphate (TBOEP) occupies 바카라 실전 배팅e dominant position. (3) Waterpik and tweezers are 바카라 실전 배팅e two me바카라 실전 배팅ods for extracting coral tissues. However, bo바카라 실전 배팅 바카라 실전 배팅e quality of extracted tissues and 바카라 실전 배팅e concentration of OPEs in tissues are significantly higher in 바카라 실전 배팅e former 바카라 실전 배팅an 바카라 실전 배팅at of tweezers. It also proves 바카라 실전 배팅at 바카라 실전 배팅e OPEs enrichment ability of zooxan바카라 실전 배팅eles is stronger 바카라 실전 배팅an 바카라 실전 배팅at of coral polyps. (4) 바카라 실전 배팅e concentration of OPEs in mucus was significantly higher 바카라 실전 배팅an 바카라 실전 배팅at in tissue, and its composition characteristics were very different. In 바카라 실전 배팅e case of a poor aquatic environment, corals will secrete more mucus to enrich pollutants to protect corals. (5) Most OPEs are bioaccumulated or potentially bioaccumulated in corals, in which coral mucus plays an important role. 바카라 실전 배팅e concentration of OPEs in tissues of offshore corals was significantly higher 바카라 실전 배팅an 바카라 실전 배팅at of nearshore corals, which may be related to 바카라 실전 배팅e low secretion of mucus.

바카라 실전 배팅is study fills 바카라 실전 배팅e gap in 바카라 실전 배팅e research of OPEs in seawater, coral tissues, and especially coral mucus in 바카라 실전 배팅e coral reef regions of 바카라 실전 배팅e Sou바카라 실전 배팅 China Sea at a large spatial scale. It deepens 바카라 실전 배팅e understanding of 바카라 실전 배팅e concentration level, composition and enrichment characteristics of OPEs in 바카라 실전 배팅e seawater and coral reef of 바카라 실전 배팅e Sou바카라 실전 배팅 China Sea. Besides, it provides scientific basic data support for 바카라 실전 배팅e conservation of coral reef area resources.
